We have them, they stopped working correctly in May last year, multiple calls later (where they tell me to turn them off and back on again) theyve agreed to replace them at the end of May (appointment booked since March)... we'll see if it actually happens. Its definitely more hassle than it's worth imo!

Have been pressing BG for some explanation of why they don't do E7 smart meters when others do. They just keep repeating that they don't do it. With current press comment about the potential for other discount/rebate schemes based on time of use, I am very frustrated with BG's intransigence, which seems to me to be unnecessarily limiting my potential choice of future tariffs. I am tempted to pursue this formally with OFGEM, and wondered whether anyone has any experience of their (OFGEM's) attitude to this issue. Thanks in advance.0
