I am first time buyer, buying the property through Purplebrick, my offer got accepted. Next step is appointing to solicitor service and PurpleBrick has provide My home move conveyancing quota which is below from street solicitors around £300 less and also it has mentioned in the email, seller also using their conveyancing service and if i use their service, things will go faster..
Does anyone experience using their PB My home move conveyancing service? will be there any hidden charges, apart from given quota?

Choose your own recommended solicitor, ask friends and family who they’ve used don’t get swayed by any promises that using the same solicitor, which is a conflict of interest anyway, will be better.5

I would really exercise caution about going with their option and instead look at local solicitors with a conveyancing dept3

Never use the same solicitor as your seller. It's a myth it will go faster, but if it did it would be at the expense of your independant advice. You need a solcitor whois in no way conected to, or influenced by, the seller, or the seller's estate agent.Find your own even if it costs a bit more. You are spending £x00,000, so a few £100 to ensure you get good, impartial, legal advice is neither here nor there.6

Another vote for getting your Own local high street Solicitors.
Somewhere you can visit and a solicitor you can contact by phone, email and every WhatsApp messenger/Text.
BP Legal services have been very slow with my Son2 -
Also local solicitors tend to know in advance what will come up on searches and potentially enquiries as they manage the process for a lot of houses in the same area so can start to pre prepare0

Don’t do it. We are using (not this one) Purplebricks recommended conveyancer for our sale and I wouldn’t recommend them.1

We went with PB solicitor. Big mistake. We naively thought they would pull out all the stops to keep PB & us happy. Long story short...get family and friends to recommend a small local firm of solicitors.

Yopa do the same thing, don't do it, pick your own from your own research. Eventhough i told Yopa this from the onset i was STILL billed for their conveyancing service which i never once spoke or responded to. Obviously i didn't have to pay.

Another vote for a good, local bricks & mortar solicitors.Ask around for recommendations.
Our daughter used My Home Move on the recommendation of the estate agent and needless to say the entire process was fraught with difficulties from start to finish.
No customer support, impossible to contact and they moved at a speed that would make a tortoise look like Usain Bolt!
