Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter: C Brewer & Sons Ltd (“Brewers”) Albany House, Ashford Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex BN21 3TR.
2. The Johnstone’s Cleanable Matt Ninja Blender & Soup Maker Competition April 2022 prize draw will be hosted on the Brewers Facebook page from Monday 11th April and will end at 11:59pm Friday 22nd April.
3. The giveaway is open to UK residents, excluding employees of the promoter or any of its group companies, their families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this activity.
4. No purchase is necessary for entry.
5. To take part, Facebook users must like the competition post and comment and then complete the form on the Brewers website.
6. Only one submission per person.
7. The Prize (“The Prize”): there will be 10 winners. The winners will receive the following item: Ninja Hot and Cold Blender and Soup Maker - HB150UK
8. Every unique comment will get 1 entry into the prize draw for the chance to win.
9. The prize draw will take place within seven days following the end of the competition entry period. The winning entrant will be notified within 72 hours of the prize draw via their entry email address.
10. In the event that the promoter cannot contact a winner after taking all reasonable steps to do so, it reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to award the prize to a substitute winner. The promoter will not be responsible for any inability of any winners to take up their specified prize.
11. The prize will be available be sent to the address specified on entry by the winner.
12. In the event that a winner has failed to pay any sums owed to the promoter within the promoter’s contractually agreed payment terms, the promoter may at its sole discretion disqualify or withdraw the prize.
13. Details provided by the winner will be deleted once the prize has been collected and will not be used for future marketing purposes.
14. The winners may be asked to take part in publicity and by claiming the prize, the winner is accepting to take part in any publicity requested by the promoter.
15. The promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the promotion due to circumstances beyond its control. Please allow up to 60 days for the prize to be available from the date of winner confirmation (winner confirmation is when the winner responds to the email confirming they are a winner).
16. Right to vary prizes – The Promoter reserves the right to offer a reasonable equivalent of any product of the same or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances. No cash alternative is available and the prizes are non-transferable and not for resale. The images of the prizes used are for representational purposes only and may differ from those shown.
17. Liability limitations and exclusions: Vetting of entrants – The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants in relation to the terms and conditions and entry restrictions. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a Prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification. The Promoter’s shall be final.
18. Data Protection – For the purpose of this promotion, we need to gather the following personal details about you: your name and email address (“Personal Data”). The Promoter will only use your Personal Data for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent. All Personal Data gathered for the use to administer the promotion, will be destroyed 6 weeks after the promotion ends.
19. Participants can unregister themselves by contacting mail@brewers.co.uk - you will also be given the opportunity to update your communication preferences via the email confirming your entry to the competition.
20. The promoter may at its sole discretion disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process or to be acting in any manner deemed to be disruptive to the competition.
21. The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
22. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude anyone from participating in the Promotion.
23. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
24. If any wording in any provision of these terms and conditions is found by any court, tribunal or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be wholly or partly illegal, invalid, void, voidable, unenforceable or unreasonable it shall, to the extent of such illegality, invalidity, voidness, voidability, unenforceability or unreasonableness, be deemed severable and the remaining provisions of the terms and/or the remainder of such provision shall continue in full force and effect.
25. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
