should rename to notcashback, yes i know they say its not guaranteed. Non payment is becoming an issue that they need to address.

I used TCB for years and always got paid, then a few years ago two didn't payout so i gave up using them. (the reason given was retailer said some other channel claimed it).

The carrot of £160 quid for scottish power was a suitable baitbfor me to try again, doh! whats the saying fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

One year on and scottish power have not paid out. With the current farce that is the uk energy market i cannot even punish them by leaving.

Cashback sites are fickle at best but this is the nature of the beast.

I'd disagree with any notion that they're a giant scam intended to rob people of their hard-earned money, this just isn't the way long-standing businesses operate because they can't operate like that.

Unfortunately due to the way things work you need to be extremely careful. Don't use adblockers (which will block the necessary tracking cookies) and wipe your cookies before making a purchase (ideally on a second browser so you don't lose important cookies.)

If you do this it will almost certainly track and you'll get paid out.  Otherwise, you're risking not getting a payout, although in some cases they will be able to track them if you complain.

TCB are brilliant IF you follow the advice from @porkisnotmeat

Some browsers, notably Opera and Brave have "security" features that cause issues with many websites.

@brek01 as you have used it successfully in the past, you know it is not a scam.

You can even get a little more than the cash amount if you use the Reward Wallet for vouchers.

thanks for tips, i avoided calling them scams as i have had payouts previously. It is showing as tracked, but a year later Scottish power has not manned up and paid their obligation. I was hoping for someone to reply who has had similar issue in last year or success even.

whats grinding my gears right now is i would have normally gone for the two year fix, but who knew the energy market farce that was just around the corner? So I choose the one year fix with the higher cashback.

I have contacted SP twice first time they replied its a third party website contact them. i replied to SP saying you need to pay the third party website. They ignored that and did not respond.

@brek01 is the cashback amount still showing in your TCB account and if so, what is the status ?

Did you ever file a missing cashback dispute with TCB ?

If it is showing the correct amount and "pending" then it has tracked and there is still hope !

You'll just have to wait for the investigation, fingers crossed for you.
