    I can also confirm that the Next Flex (-Direct Debit) tariff shows the April capped rates although the OP must be in a different region from me (Northern) as the rates (they have posted) differ marginally to what I can see.
  • My apologies, the cheapest fixed deal they have offered me is;

    Is EonV13 better than the variable tariff?

    It's impossible to predict how prices will rise, so the best advice at the moment is to stay on the variable tariff.

    It really does depend on how you measure better?

    For some better means knowing and predictable so fixed will be better for them

    For others any fix at the moment is higher than the price cap variable rates so it's better for them

    We are personally expecting a 30% price cap rise in October and for us a 2 year fix was better so we can plan for two years.

    What is better for you?

    Unit price for gas is 41.75% more expensive on the fixed rate, electricity is 45.49%.

    I am not going to take into account the differences in the standing charges.

    Without knowing how much energy you use during summer the fix will only work if the cap increase is more than 50 to 60%.

    So stay away from it, hardly any chance that you can benefit from it.
