TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Celebrity Cruises (Celebrity Beyond) Magic Radio online and on air” (the “Competition”).

 

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside  our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.

2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	There will be [five] winners of the Competition in total – 4 on-air winners and 1 online winner.   Online Competition   Between 14th April 2022 and 2nd May 2022 Entrants must visit [Magic Radio | More of the Songs You Love (planetradio.co.uk)] and answer the question correctly.   All valid entries will be pooled and one winner will be chosen by [electronic] random draw on [3rd May 2022].   On-air Competition   To enter the competition, you must be listening to the Magic afternoon show from Tuesday 19th – Friday 22nd April 2022 and call or text the number outlined in section 1 - this will be during the Magic afternoon show 1300-1600 daily.  The presenters will advise when the phone lines open during their show for each competition.   Each day, one caller or one text entry will be randomly selected as the finalist.   The daily mechanics differ per day, please see below options:   19th April 2022 – Studio Competition 1  Magic Radio presenter will tell listener the route of entry of the competition. At the designated time an entrant will be randomly selected and invited to come on-air to play the mechanic to win.   The listener brought to air will be asked to select a category from design, entertainment, food & beverage. Once a category has been selected this cannot be selected in other mechanics rounds later in the competition.   The entrant must answer the question themed around the chosen category. If the answer to the question is correct the entrant will win the prize.   20th April 2022 - Studio Competition 2 Magic Radio presenter will tell listener the route of entry of the competition. At the designated time an entrant will be randomly selected and invite to come on-air to play the mechanic to win.   The listener brought to air will be asked to select a category from the remaining categories from design, entertainment, food & beverage. Once a category has been selected this cannot be selected in other mechanics rounds later in the competition.   The entrant must answer the question themed around the chosen category. If the answer to the question is correct the entrant will win the prize.   21st April 2022 – OB Competition Magic Radio presenter will tell listener the route of entry of the competition. At the designated time an entrant will be randomly selected and invite to come on-air to play the mechanic to win.   The listener brought to air will be asked to identify three locations that have been visited on the ship by presenters Emma B & Kat Shoob.   If the locations are correctly identified the entrant will win the prize.   22nd April 2022 - Studio Competition 3 Magic Radio presenter will tell listener the route of enter of the competition. At the designated time a entrant will be randomly selected and invite to come on-air to play the mechanic to win.   The listener brought to air and given the final a category that has not been selected from previous competitions rounds from design, entertainment, food & beverage.   The entrant must answer the question themed around the chosen category. If the answer to the question is correct the entrant will win the prize.
3. ENTRY PERIOD	Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:   Online Competition   There will be 1 winner of the online competition From [00:01 on 14th April 2022] (the “Start Time”) to [11:59 on 2nd May 2022] (“End Time”).   Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.   Winner Announcement. The online winner details are available by contacting win@bauermedia.co.uk   On-air Competition There will 4 winners of the online competition with a daily competition From 13:00 19th April 2022 (the “Start Time”) to 16:00 22nd April 2022 (“End Time”).   Winner Announcement. The name and the home town of the winner(s) will be announced on the shows that the competition is in.   If the winner cannot be contacted within 28 days from the date of the initial attempt to contact them/the on-air draw, then we will re-draw until we draw a winner that we are satisfied (in our sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.
5. THE PRIZE	Full description of prizes   Five prizes are available of a European cruise for two people with Celebrity Cruises Each prize comprises one twin-share balcony stateroom or equivalent for two people. The Prize includes drinks, W-Fi and tips included for all guests. Meals on-board the ship are included, but all other speciality dining restaurants are excluded. The Prize includes return economy flights from a UK regional departure airport, plus return transfers from the arrival airport to the port but excludes any connecting travel to and from the UK regional departure airport. Further exclusions are shore excursions, travel insurance, and other chargeable amenities, such as spa and dry-cleaning, and any other personal expenses. For the prizes drawn on 19th April, 20th April, 22nd April and 2nd May, the Winner will receive one twin-share balcony stateroom on a 7-night European sailing on Celebrity Edge departing until 31st August 2022. For the prize drawn on 21st April, the Winner will receive one twin-share balcony stateroom on a European sailing on Celebrity Beyond in 2022. If required, the only alternative offered to this will be a 7-night European sailing on Celebrity Edge departing until 31st August 2022. The Prizes are for the listed ships only and only for sailings starting and departing at a European port.  Travel insurance for the prize will be offered by Bauer Media at point of winning. Conditions of Prize    Entrants must have a valid passport (with 6 months validity remaining after the cruise return date) to participate in the Prize sailing. To participate in the Prize sailing, the Winner and guest must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. All guests, age 18 and over, must have completed the full cycle of required doses for the vaccine administered (e.g. received the second dose in a two-dose series), and that the guest has received the final dose at least 14 days before sailing. 1. MISCELLANEOUS.

 

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.
• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.
