Beware when switching
Options
I have always switched energy provider on a quite regular basis, however I’ve had my fingers burnt a few times.
1. There is often a very good reason why some providers are cheaper than others, like having no customer support, no one to talk to when you need help.
2. And this is the most recent problem, being offered a better rate so you switch then a year later getting an additional bill for three times the previous amount paid as an additional demand.
I have no idea where I stand, I have a smart meter and the provider has claimed for many months they cannot access it and are unable to come out to investigate.
Kind regards,
Simon
