Confused about SSP

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone can help, I test positive for covid on Friday 8/4, and at the moment am still testing positive as of yesterday (haven't tested again yet today).
I work mon/tues/wed 16.5hrs min wage. When I logged the pos result was advised by test trace to iso so have since Friday and so have missed my 3 working days this week.
I know the rules have changed in regards to SSP and iso, so I'm now a bit lost.
Am I entitled to any ssp for this weeks lose of work or will I get nothing as only work 3 days?
My manager will have only logged me as sick as of Monday not from Friday as I don't work Fridays or the wkends.
Hope this all makes sense.
Thanks
Tara

You can only claim from the 4 th day you are off.0 -
Don't get confused between 'waiting' days and 'working' days. If your first day sick is a Friday, the fourth waiting day is the following Monday but your employer might count the three working days as Friday, Monday, Tuesday... so you may only be paid from the following Wednesday.0
