Stop/Start/MOT

Depends why it has stopped and whether it is showing a malfunction or warning on the dash.Regardless, whilst you may not like the system the fact it appears to have stopped working may indicate a wider issue such as a failing battery.0

My Peugeot has Stop start, it works one day then not for a week.
So many factors affect it, outside temp, lights on, heating on, air con.
State of charge.

My Volvo's stop/start works after I've done a long run, a couple of hundred miles. It then works for a week or two then never again until I do another long run.. That's just the way I like it.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

..I had a problem for 3 years with the S/S not working/rarely working, turned out to be a "low" battery, (always started first time so never bothered me). Eventually had to fit a new battery and now it works pretty much all the time....which I hate as I keep forgetting to turn the bl@@dy thing off!
