Rear tyres deflating faster than front — but at the same rate

5 months between checks? There was me wondering if checking them fortnightly was leaving it too long.
Bought one car with mid-range tyres on the front and they lost pressure, replaced with Michelins and they
never dropped at all.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
In case anyone finds this later on and wants a solution (in my case at least)… When I had the car serviced I mentioned this and they removed the alloys, cleaned them up and refitted. I checked the tyre pressure a week apart and there is no air loss so problem solved! Before I would've lost 2 or 3 PSI in each rear tyre.

It’s a common issue, I’ve had it sorted 2 ways.
First is remove wheels and tyres. Rub down the inner rims, undercoat and paint them.
Or easy fix, there is a thick sealant they paint round the rim when fitting.
Bead select I think it’s called.1 -
After each mile you drive, stop the car and swap the front wheels for the rears then after another mile do the same, etc.
