Travel insurance - France

Hi

I am travelling to France in June and i would like to have some insurance on goods im carrying, mainly camera and lens.

Is there any travel insurance you can recommend that covers this? I am not worried about cancellation, etc, as i will be driving, i just want to insure the goods

Thanks

    Hi

Have you checked your house insurance - sometimes that will be cover goods like cameras outside the home.

If you don't have home contents insurance I suspect you will be best speaking to a broker.  Most standard holiday insurance policies have a very low limit for personal items.

You would need a specific policy for photographers: check a discussion forum around photography or visit the website of a camera club or dealer.
