Shell Energy March 2022 Late Bill?
Options
Our Shell Energy March bill is now a couple of weeks late - we are on smart meters. Usually our bill is available 3rd of the month. delay probably related to the price cap rise but wondered if anyone else had an issue with their most recent bill? I’m keen to stay on top of any increase I need to make to my direct debit and I don’t want to fall behind and have to sort a big bill further down the road. I can see what our smart meters say we owe for March but I’m concerned there might be a nasty surprise once the bill finally arrives. Been looking on the forum for a few days now to see if anyone in the same boat - apologies if I’ve missed anything and am posting a repeat topic but I haven’t seen anything on here about late energy bills.

With the influx of new customers perhaps it will take time to normalise again.1

My Shell bill was available on its normal date, 3rd April. Smart meter readings.

Have you checked online and your bill is unavailable, or are you waiting for an e-mail notification or letter? If you haven't checked online, I would.
If your smart meter is indicating your usage OK then you shouldn't be in for any unexpected surprise. Note that the price increase won't affect this bill.
Have you checked whether the prices on your smart meter have updated correctly for this month?1 -
Hi - yes I’ve logged onto my Shell Energy account several times now but the last bill is from February. My smart meter is reflecting the higher cap/standing charges. So you are right I will stop worrying about it - it must just be an error on their side. Thanks for the helpful suggestions much appreciated.Lancashire
