My contract ended on 28/03/2022, we contacted them to discuss new price, they lowered it a bit so we accepted, next day we contacted them to cancel because we changed our minds, we told them we have 14 days cooling off period
They told us no problem they will be no charges for cancelling, we just got a bill for £240 for cancelling!
we spoke to them again , there excuse now is . you Do not get 14days because you are a existing customer?? It only applies to new customers. What are they talking about, anybody any ides.

They are right, You are not a new customer, just an existing customer that has renegotiated the price.

Apparently thats worth asking for help over here

Be polite about it and they should be able to give you straight answer - I think VM allow you to revert to the old contract within 14 days and allow you to then trigger 30 days notice.
Not free, but still cheaper than the termination charge.0
