County Court Claim for *unadvised* militant approach

As you have until 10th May then there's no point rushing to file your defence. Give it a couple of weeks in case any new tactics come about in the interim. (Unlikely, I know - but it's happened before; new tactics have to happen at some point in time).

Hello again. I've spent the last few days reading and re-reading my defence and I am going to send it off today or tomorrow. In terms of where to send it, I have found this guidance, but I'm not sure if it's up to date. Having looked at this link and this link, I think the email addresses may have changed. @KeithP, the Newbies page suggests using your guidance. Could you advise me on the latest advice on this please?
Also, I've read that the email subject should be Claim No: XXXX [Document Title] and that I can digitally sign a PDF since I don't have a printer and this was accepted during Covid times. Just want to make sure this is still the case.

@KeithP gave you the advice in his post 13 April at 3:31pm. Nothing has changed to it in the past 3 weeks. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

May I respectfully suggest that if you want people to stop asking this question, that you might remove that line completely so people will default to the guidance on the template page.0 -
Point taken, thanks.
The NEWBIES thread is closed (to stop people posting on it, thank heavens for that much-needed protection of the advice thread!) so I have to ask specially to open it to edit it, which I only need to do once or twice a year.
I will try to remember, when I edit it next.
You have bespoke advice from KeithP specific to your case and a Template defence here on the forum that takes half an hour to adapt. You won't get better advice anywhere!
Also note the 12 first steps in that Template Defence thread and revisit it, as it covers the first tedious standard intimidation letter and what to do.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi everyone,
It's taken a while, but I've finally received an email from the claimant's lawyers saying that they've been instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close the file! They've attached a Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance which has also apparently been filed with the Court.
Is this it? Should I celebrate the win or is there something more I need to do? If that's all there is to it, then I'd really like to thank you all for your advice and guidance through this really educational experience for me. It's been invaluable, and I'm beaming with the results
Thank you!

And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation?
We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA and roboclaim 'legals' gaslighting of people.
Please come back here when it opens.
If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.
Then join us when the Consultation opens.
