If it's not a bank selling the house which they confirmed wasn't a bank but a company, then it points to being a lender going through an intermediate company to sell the house. @user1977

I've been outbid on the house anyway, an offer of over £180k has been placed and accepted. But they have more viewings this weekend, no doubt the price of this house will end up exceeding £200k - that's way out of my budget. Especially for a repossessed house that needs some work done inside.
