VAT invoice date

Good morning. I have a problem with the VAT invoice. I bought a company phone on February 11. It was scheduled for delivery on February 25. The problem is that the phone was delayed by 2 months and I only received it now. The problem is that my VAT invoice is dated February 11th, and my VAT billing period was until the end of February. I cannot sign this invoice until the new period because the date is before March (the new period is March - May). When I got the message that the delivery would be delayed, I contacted customer service and was assured that the date on the invoice would be on the day the order was delivered. I contacted customer service yesterday and they say they can't change this date. What should I do in such a situation? What should the VAT invoice date be?

Vat invoice date depends on the payment terms of the contract.   Usually date of dispatch.
