Yes. Login to your account and use the fast track apply option on the left side. When the new account is open chose transfer and close from the existing account. Opening is often quick but it can take a few hours.

again I'm waiting much longer than usual for my Cynergy fast track application to open an account, after applying 6pm yesterday, tempted to apply again today if applications are quick now.

Whilst they normally open your new account instantly, sometimes outside core hours it does take longer.

I'd give them to lunchtime today myself to see if your new account has been opened.

I opened yesterday evening, got the email to say I was successful but still showing just the old account. Will check again some time after 9.

Same problem but it's appeared now.

I must have double clicked as they opened two for me.

Sorted now and the transfer and close is fairly straight forward.

Has anyone with a joint account at Cynergy gone through the close issue x and open issue y process and was it straightforward? thanks

I have opened a joint account.  Yes it is straightforward. 

Wait until the new account is open and then just do an internal transfer and close from old to new.
