We ordered a sofa and chairs from a local high street name on the 29/9/21
we were asked if we wanted in time for Christmas. We declined as we were decorating
now 12/4/22 2 cancelled delivery dates. And no sofa.

The co has knocked £245 off the cost but that’s not even 10%.
Where do we stand with regards to further compensation??
They also demanded payment before the last cancellation….. we did pay as they cancelled it hrs after sending delivery date. We have a pay a deposit then pay the balance 6/12 later. Is this from point of purchase or from point of delivery?? Can they demand payment?? Can we legally with hold it??? This co has had issues since 2008. Had I realised I’d have gone elsewhere
thx

You're not entitled to compensation, so your choice is to accept the discount offered, ask for more if you want it, or cancel for a refund.0
