Can anyone recommend a clothes drying rack that lasts?

Each one I get ends up bending out of shape and breaking. I've spent a good £30 on these but all the same.

£30 sounds a bit cheap for a rack you want to last.

Which one(s) have you bought previously?

Sounds like at least three of them (OP says 'all the same' and not 'both the same') so a tenner each at most?

I bought 3 different rolling clothing racks when we moved 4 years ago.  Only 1 is still properly usable.  Problem is that they are cheap (£15ish each) and if you check them closely are likely only good for a very limited weight.  So stuff it with all my jackets, coats, shirts and boom! they bend and falls over.

I recently purchased an IKEA Platsa unit.  Just the bare basic box frame with a rail and a shelf above - think it was £68.  No doors, feet, nothing extra.  It's small enough to fit under our sloped ceilings.  I was so pleased I've bought 2 more (still to be assembled) and then will get rid of what remains of the 2 cheapos and will repurpose the third for lighter duties - likely hand all my scarves on it.

£30 was the most expensive. I've previously got them from Tesco or Argos.

For drying clothes we have this from IKEA - inherited from a previous flatmate, I reckon it's about 10 years old, and still going strong

We've also got one of their classic octopus smalls holders, when the pegs failed on that I replaced them with normal pegs on giant paperclips

I've got two, £15 each at most, probably £10 and have had 15 years use out of the 1st and about 8 from the second. I've taped a few of the minor bars back in (hey this MSE). I only half load them at most as I find things don't dry if packed on too tight. One was from TESCO, the other from similar. If I used coat hangers to pack as much as I could on them I suspect both would fail straight away, but draping clothes over the bars I've had few problems.

Ours is from Wilko, but only used for drying things that don't/won't go in the tumble dryer (wool jumpers, some fleece type jackets) etc.,.
    Only £14.  https://www.wilko.com/wilko-deluxe-clothes-airer-14m/p/0107006

But we don't abuse our drying rack by overloading it.
