Lcwra - change of circumstance

Hello
I was hoping that I might be able to get some assistance with a couple of questions I have regarding lcwra.
I was reading a section on the citizens advice website about lcwra and it said that when you are awarded this, I need to do a change of circumstances in my uc journal. Is this correct, if so how do I do this please.
My second question. I have been handing in fit notes since January 2019. I have also had a previous wca, that went all the way to a tribunal and I failed it. My second wca recently I was awarded lcwra.
I have been reading online that they backdate it to when you first make them aware of your illness, with the 3 months wait added. They are not going to backdate it to April 2019. I mean, that sound too good to be true. I am guessing that it is more likely going to be from June 2021, when I sent in my UC50, with the 3rd month from September.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks.

You don't need to report the WCA outcome, it will be UC taht report it to you.
If your previous WCA found you Fit for Work then the LCWRA element will be paid from the fourth month after you reported a change in your health condition which prompted the new WCA.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1
