I got this letter about a 30% price increase from 1st May. Could anyone explain the highlighted paragraph to me? Does it mean if I top up to the max before April 21st, I’ll get that electricity at the cheaper rate?

    That's how I'd read it, yes.

    @QrizB Yes, I’m in Northern Ireland. The rates in that pic are for economy 7. I’m on the standard keypad rate. Does it still seem good?

    Compared to GB rates, yes they still seem quite good. Over here your unit price would be something like a penny a kWh lower but you'd also have a 45p/day standing charge to pay, even on a standard (non-E7) tariff.
