Not got the glass, but if it’s anything like the Sky Q boxes, works well on my 50mbs internet offering from BT. Me and my mrs can be streaming HD at the same time with no issues.0

Sister has Sky Glass, it's OK but not outstanding. The TV's are not the best, HDR performance is mediocre and if I remember, programme recording doesn't exist, so you will still need a recording box....Oh, and I don't think they have the same amount of channels as Sky Q.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Recorded.
Saved. Sorted. With Playlist, you can record shows from Sky, BT Sports, Eurosport, Gold, W, and more. Or you can save a show for later from apps. And it's all in the cloud. So no need to worry about storage or clashes.

Those things wouldn't necessarily bother me as linear TV is doesn't offer that much, but, there are many people who record and keep, for years, sometimes. For them, they would need another, proper, recording method, like SkyQ or a Freeview/Sat PVR. For them, I suggest they research very carefully, same advice for those that appreciate a quality picture.

You;d be better off getting a proper TV and a Sky Q or Huma box you wouldn't then be stuffed with what restrictions or dubious upgrades that SKY is likely to impose on you in the future.
IMO the biggest risk is if SKY do'nt make enough money from it. and decide to can it in a year or so time. You could easily end up with an obsolete, unsupported TV that will only function properly if SKY feel it's in their interest to keep it going.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers2 -
As matelodave says, you pay your money for an inferior system that might be canned. There is only one reason to get Sky Glass IMO and that is if you aren't allowed a dish on your building and you are desperate for Sky.......How often would those two criteria converge.... 😁Drinking Rum before 10am makes you
