Has anyone used this - it costs £2.99 - so it says. Wondering if it is worth it to stop all the ads on my iPad or if it is just a scam.
Would appreciate any advice please. I have a 2019 iPad Air. Many thanks.

A lot of websites are able to detect adblockers - some even know which one you are using. They make you turn it off or you don't get to see the content. Check Settings/Apps/Safari on your iPad and you can block pop-ups, prevent cross-site tracking, block all cookies, enable fraudulent website warning, privacy preserving ad measurement and a ton of stuff under 'Advanced'Lara said:Has anyone used this - it costs £2.99 - so it says. Why don't you try installing the Brave browser? They block ads. https://brave.com/Save £12k in 2019 #154 - £14,826.60/£12kSave £12k in 2020 #128 - £4,155.62/£10k1

Hi Lara, Just seen your post about totaladblock. They are NOT trustworthy. However you paid, go into your account. You will find it is a recurring payment for £9.95 per month. I also got caught but deactivated it from my Paypal account.Lara said:Has anyone used this - it costs £2.99 - so it says. I use AdBlock for internet and AdBlock for You Tube. Both work well and both free. When a website detects that I have an ad block, I just say 'pause on this site'.datostar said:

I use uBlock rather than AdBlock - seems to work (almost) exactly the same way but without the paid-ad-promotion that AdBlock (allegedly) allows.
