MVHR Help

Just testing the waters on this.
We have two bathrooms and the extraction vents are connected to a single inline Manrose MF150 T controlled via PIR presence sensors in each bathroom. Both the vents join via a Y connector to the extractor which then vents to the outside. Its rated for just over 100L/s air flow. This arrangement is doing a good job (its was all a DIY job
)
I'm contemplating replacing this with an MVHR unit due to the noise and the heat loss. I'm hoping to remove the Stale air from the bathrooms using the existing vents then to vent them out using the current external vent. The warmed fresh air to the landing area using a new vent.
One of the big issues which would need addressing is, where to get the fresh air from.
Can the fresh air intake come from the Loft? Our loft has 200 mm insulation and is well ventilated. If not I'll have to get another hole drilled on the wall.
