Quick question - how long does a SAR take? I sent over all my details and got a reply asking me to fill in a form which I didn't do as per the advice and provided details on email (didn't admit to being the driver) but nothing back since.
Is this normal?0 -
They are allowed a month. If nothing arrives by then, send a reminder giving them 7 days to respond or else you will report them to the ICO.
If they still don't supply the data, then follow through with the complaint.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Hi,
So Defence was acknowledged as received on the 21/4 - Nothing received since apart from the acknowledgement of my defence.
How long do they have ? is it 30 days?
30 days from the 21st = 19/5.

The CCBC sent you a letter, or will send you a letter, saying the Claimant had twenty eight days to consider your Defence. What you don't know is when the CCBC sent a copy of your Defence to the Claimant. It follows from that that it is not known when the Claimant has to respond to the CCBC.Further, we don't know what delays there are in the CCBC that means they don't send you a Directions Questionnaire as promptly as you might like. Can I suggest that you keep checking your MCOL Claim History and as soon as you see that the CCBC has sent a DQ to you, you are ready to download a DQ, complete it and fire it back to the CCBC, remembering to send a copy to the Claimant of course?2

Thanks Keith - I did receive a letter from the claimant with a questionnaire they had completed advising me they intent to proceed. I have been checking the CCBC daily to see when DQ is sent but nothing showing. Perhaps the bank holidays etc mean they are behind. I'll be ready to send when I see that status change0
