Delighted oled is fully paid on one of two rbs cards during 0% purchase time.
Status I now find is as follows.
RBS -1 8.1k limit -9.9apr purchases 6.9 Balance Transfers -Zero Balance.
RBS-2 1.3K limit 19.9apr purchases 0% Purchases until 05/23-Zero Balance

I had intended to close rbs-2 -before I noticed latest 0% purchase offer until 05/23.
As Ide like to use RBS for groceries and maybe small household purchases.

Is it wise to keep both Cards at least for year ahead.
I appreciate 0% offers expire -I have other cards with offers, though feel rbs 1 7.9% transfer offer could prove useful in near future.

p.s. Progress Can and Is being Made!
thanks

Instead of closing it, can’t you transfer the limit from one card to the other?

    That's exactly why I've reached 8.1k on rbs 1
As I had requested 95% limit to be transferred from rbs 2 with intention of closing this card.
Only doubt on my mind now is -if I make purchases And transfers with rbs 1 card, I could get caught in being trapped in the Higher re payment rate if not repaying in full.
1.3K Yes could still make rbs 1 9.4k -only a phone call away.
Alternatively now that rbs 2 is 0% purchases until 05/23 - I could use this card for groceries whilst retaining rbs 1 with option of using if and when required for 7.9 transfers.

    thanks

I would keep both , and take advantage of the 0% purchases offer for day to day purchases you would be making anyway.  Put the money you would have been spending in a savings account to earn some interest, or use it to pay off anything on a higher interest rate, looking to reduce you combined balances before the 0% deal runs out.

Thanks, I have challenging priorities during mid 2022. Amazon 30.10-21% approx. Amex-which has been used recent weeks for Groceries - 112.61-22.2%apr approx. VM 1.149k approx.-Zero apr year ahead. Is it wise to start using rbs-2 on Zero% asap-I was going to clear Amazon+Amex over next few weeks.

Only Amazon to clear off, then I'll take advantage of rbs-2 0% Groceries for a few months.
rbs-1 Cleared using helptosave -paid oled.
