Apart from the trap under the sink, is there anything else I need? Will this lot work together OK do you think? Where the water going into the overflow go?

You need a slotted waste for the overflow, not the unslotted one you've chosen.

I think we're planning on a 720mm vanity unit from Howdens. If anybody could tell me the height of their hinge holes I'd be grateful as they've discontinued the colour we want so I'm now looking at buying the carcass and top from them, and buying in doors and ends from a 'replacement' door supplier.
