Who knows? Realistically, no-one can advise you what tax might be due in 10 years time, because there are several known unknowns involved:sgx2000 said:If I did nothing and their mother dies in 10 years. Would it still be the same senario with cgt.?
What would seem the most likely advice they would receive?- how much the house may rise and fall in value, compared to its current value
- what the rate of tax would be for CGT
- what the individual allowance for CGT might be
