Cracked Ceramic hob - how to isolate from oven

I have an electric range cooker, the ceramic hob has cracked and i understand i can't use it because it is an electrocution risk!
I believe it is safe to use the oven only however, the knobs are very easy to turn on accidentally so i don't trust that we can leave the power on and just use the oven safely.
Does anybody know if there is a way to isolate (and stop) the power to the hob so that i can turns the mains back on and use the oven only?
It's a rangemaster Excel 110.
Any advice very gratefully received, thank you

Just pull the knobs off the spindles0

A simple hairline crack in the glass should be fine and unlikely to be much of a risk.
Smashed glass with pieces missing is another matter and shouldn't be used regardless. You can buy a small table top cooker from somewhere like Aldi or Curry's for around £40-50 if you need something to put you on.0
