I submitted my DQ form to the court today via e-mail (same e-mail to which I submitted my defence - ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk).
Do I need to submit a copy to the claimant/their legal reps too? Is that a requirement prior to the deadline or is it just a suggested pracise, and if so what are the benefits of sending them a copy?
Thank you

I don't think you need to send a copy to the claimant, but you do need to make sure the CCBC received it.
Do you have any more information about this that you want help with, or do you have an existing thread about it?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Continue to follow that checklist you were using when you filed your Defence.
Item 6 on that list was...6. After filing your Defence, there is more to do.
Items 7, 8, 9 and 10 on that list answer your current questions.
Please keep all questions about any one incident to a single thread. People are not going to chase around looking for background information.3 -
Thank you for the replies guys, very much appreciated. I have a response from the CCBC saying they have received the e-mail and I will monitor their moneyclaim portal for an update saying they have received it.
Keith, I am following that thread. You are right in that it does tell me what to do next and it does state to send a copy to the claimant or their legal reps. However it doesn't answer my question as to whether this is a requirement and if not why they should receive a copy? The letter from the court does not mention sending a copy fo the claimant and the DQ form has my phone number on it, something I am not sure that I want these people having.

TBH although it says you need to a lot of people dont, it doesnt make any difference if you do or you dont
