I am having a looking at English law and, more specifically, contract law and, even more specifically, an email contract from an energy supplier which I feel is grossly misleading and ambiguous. Please let me know should you wish to discuss……….

Is this a business contract rather than domestic ?

If this is a domestic contract, please provide more details about which supplier and tariff is involved and you may find there are others who have already been down the path of a complaint or have used the Ombudsman service to get a resolution...

One thing (OK, one of the many things) you won't get on this forum is lawyers offering legal advice.
You generally get people with varying degrees of competence offering opinions with varying degrees of credibility.

I know, and work with, a number of eminent contract lawyers, and I fear their fees would far outweigh any redress you might hope to gain.

This was posted in another thread...... and for the avoidance of doubt this is not a legal opinion and may not be relied upon ... :)

Maybe there is a lawyer who will work pro bono on a class action since Neon Reef had 30,000 customers and I presume many will have be moved to BG and some could also chip in if necessary

Being slightly pedantic, you’re looking for solicitors conversant with English law. The solicitor themselves don’t have to be English.

Having said that, anyone on here can pretend to be anything. That’s why personal messages giving advice are discouraged. If it’s out in the open a) knowledgeable posters can challenge someone who has got their facts wrong and b) other people in a similar situation might also find the advice useful.
    Just for future reference.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
