The ICO is investigating the DVLA for selling personal data without reason, so the more complaints they get, the more chance something will one day be done ... or pigs might fly.
I guess that's why Keller Lenkner got involved.

ALSO re:  Vantage Point carpark there is no CCTV!  Or at least there wasn't in 2019 or so they claimed!

I would ask for ALL ANPR & CCTV footage in relation to their allegation on you just in case they've since installed it.

They were sneaky and included CCTV signs in their exhibits section. It was only when I asked for it in my SAR they said there wasn't any.  CCTV would of corroborated my defence and rubbished their claim so it makes me think they have been lying about that too! Just like their refusal to disclose ANPR log of my vehicle's movements!

Then what can you expect from a company whose 2 main owners have a track record with convictions for dishonesty offences!?!  The other main director is a narcissistic egotist who used to run one of the South Easts most predatory clamping firms!

    UPDATE
    Success!

This is a very late update albeit a good one.  Firstly I would like to thank @co@Coupon-mad @fr@Fruitcake @95@95Rollers @ke@KeithP and everyone else for their advice in this case.

After filing my AOS and submitting an SAR request along with a message stating i would be asking the police for their cctv footage outside carpark at the alleged time of offence under the FOI act. I received a response from the PPC's solicitors shortly after stating their client had ordered them to CEASE ALL FURTHER ACTION.  :D

Again many thanks to all your comments. This was all too easy and not worth the stress I allowed myself to feel at the time!

    Hi all,

I have been sent a county court claim form regarding an unpaid parking charge. I have read alot of info on the threads here and am just looking for a little guidance through the stages.

    Heres the claim form:

    //imgur.com/a/CfbWYL0

I was visiting the area over a period of about 5 days and parked in the same car park everyday. During this time I had problems with paying on the mobile app so my friend in London ended up having to pay for me, Pay n display machine also didn't work.

I have receipts for each day parked there, however they do not indicate how long the payments covered.

I have contacted the PPC on the phone and they say ANPR got my car entering on the 16th and then exiting on the 17th. They say my car was there overnight which I disagree with. I would've driven home each night to London.

I have filed my AOS today.

I am currently preparing an SAR to PPC.

I will be soon filing a freedom of information request through the police to see if they'll send me any ANPR proof that my car wasn't in the car park overnight.

I am thinking that my defense will be based on the idea that their ANPR camera system and payment system weren't working correctly at the time and so they have no solid proof my car remained there overnight. Is this ok or do you guys think I should defend on different grounds?

    Double dip case then.

No wonder they dropped it when you asked for a SAR!

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

I'm a Brighton lass. No locals ever use Vantage Point's crap-poor car park. No idea why anyone would park there and pay money to these chancers. So many better car parks for daily stays in the City.

I'm sure you'll avoid ever using an OPS car park in future! Avoid like the plague.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
