Freeze my card details on app

I freeze my card details on app but when I use my contact less physical case card for bus and got declined an says it was declined because I frozen my card but I only frozen my card details no my numberless card. Anyone know why?

When you say your physical case card I assume you mean the physical card you were sent in the post by Chase bank?
If you have used the app to freeze the Numberless card, then this is that physical card (it has no account number printed on it). You essentially freeze all activity on being able to use that car for anything, so contactless will be disabled.
Were you trying to do something more specific which would be in the card controls where you could switch off things individually such as:
Contactless
Chip & Pin
Cash Withdrawals
Card Swipe
Payments outside UK

I froze my card detail, not numberless card and I used contacless on card to pay for tram and it got declined. I got my message to say from chase it was declined because I frozen my card but I only frozen card details not my numberless card so my numberless transaction should not get declined.0

It let's you freeze the card or just freeze it from online transactions. Which did you choose?0 -

These are the 2 options from the app:Numberless card freeze
Freeze Chip & PIN, contactless, swipe and withdrawals
Online payments freeze
Freeze your card details used for online shopping
So I assume the latter was chosen?
