Enlighten - Envoy-s

Options
Does anyone else have this system?  Our envoy-s has stopped working.  In fact, it has no power to the unit (checked power supply etc.). I have conflicting information about the warranty - apparently it’s either two years or five years and our unit is about 2 and a half years old.  The original installer wants to charge us a huge amount just to have a look at it.  Any help or advice appreciated!

We've had that problem several times. Mr M solves it with the old 'switch it off and on again' trick, I can't give you any more detail than that till he gets back from golf! Our installer came the first time, and showed him (no charge!).

His nibs says the Enlighten website has a troubleshooting guide, which will take you through the necessary steps to reset the box thingy. Hope that helps!

I have only had this installed recently.  The envoy did become unresponsive once and had to power cycle it.  Unfortunately mine is hard wired from the distribution board and had to turn the power off for the circuit.

Thanks for your comments everyone.  The problem with mine is that there is no power to it, so I guess that the unit has completely failed and will need replacing.  Annoying, as it’s less than three years old!

How is the unit powered?  Any possibility the fuse might have blown?

Good thinking, but I’ve checked the fuse and also tried plugging into a different socket.  Nothing…

You could try reaching out to Enphase UK and check your warranty duration.

Can't be certain,  but that looks like a standard figure of 8 lead, if so, pull it out and plug in a new one.

Most light duty appliances from 10 years ago would have one, like a radio, dvd player etc

If im wrong and its an IEC, then a kettle lead will do it, usually on all newish TVs, computers, screens etc etc

It is attached to a fused spur by the the look of it.
Can not see if it has neon indicator from picture.
May need to check where it is fed from may have it`s own breaker.
