Maybe restaurants should bring back 'minimum charge' then nobody has anything to complain about.

The only time I find I get queer looks is when I ask for a doggy bag - hey, I've ordered it, I'm paying for it and if I want to take home half a plateful, why not ;)

Some restaurants will not allow doggie bags any more. The reasoning is that there is a higher risk of food poisoning if it is not reheated properly ... maybe they have been sued once to often.

Its a shame because DW eats like a mouse and now I have to finish two dinners on the same night instead of taking one home with me. :D:D
