Hard searches now removed after 6 months instead of 12 months?

ClearScore says hard searches are removed after 6 months. It used to be 12 months.

It this just a Equifax thing or is it a new rule for all CRAs?

On my Equifax/Clear Score reports there's a hard search by Vodafone from May 2021 which is still showing so the six-month removal is not correct in that instance.

The blurb on the Equifax searches page in my report does say "credit application searches remain on your Equifax Credit Report for one year" so not sure why Clear Score are saying differently.
