Meter reading
Hi
I have a Ampy meter model 5258k and solar panels connected. So when my panels are feeding back to the grid the red light is on and the display says red. This indicates in feeding back. Am I correct in thinking my panels are producing enough power for me to say run a kettle and not use anything from the grid. Only my meter is still clicking up indicating I'm buying power when I thought I should be free.

Your panels don't generate a fixed amount, mine today have varied between 600w and 3700w most of today and are making around 2400w right now, you need some kind of a display to tell you when you are generating and how much.1
