My dad bought a brand new Mercedes E Class, AMG Line in Dec 2017
It has low miles sub 14k and FSH via MB
The Colour is black - new tyres recently and unmarked on the inside
It was keyed not sure when but possibly a few weeks ago, it's to the metal on both passenger side doors about ten inches long. Then the other day dad noted someone with a grey car had brushed against his car and scratched/lin from the front door to the back door passenger side and slight dent on the arch and rea door by the arch and a cosmetic scratch to the back door.
He is wondering if to get it repaired via insurance his total excess is 700.
Just want your thoughts not going to hold anyone to it. (19k price as A1 condition,)

I'd look for a local paintshop to get it repaired for cash, since it probably won't cost 700.You can always run quotes through WBAC to get an idea of price difference between it repaired and not.
Also have a look at the buying price on motorway and Arnold Clark, Evans Halshaw, etc if you live near them. AC are offering about £3k more for mine than WBAC.0 -
That is the funny thing, unlike years ago I can't see the option for the cars with a small dent/scratch etc on their site.Herzlos said:I'd look for a local paintshop to get it repaired for cash, since it probably won't cost 700.You can always run quotes through WBAC to get an idea of price difference between it repaired and not.

There's an option, at the bottom, under "Your Valuation".diystarter7 said:

It is not clear how the OP matches the title about WBAC.
Is the damage within the abilities of a smart repair?diystarter7 said:My dad bought a brand new Mercedes E Class, AMG Line in Dec 2017
