how do how do I get a refund from a close down website? I did not receive my goods.

    Need a bit more information.  What was the website?  Where was the retailer based?  UK?  Overseas?  How did you pay and when?

    Website was tingle.com I’ve used this website number of times over the years.  But when I placed order and went back to check on status it keeps saying website under maintenance. This is what it has been saying for the past months. I paid by by debit card £28. I have emailed them a few times but no luck.

    Well there is a possible non receipt of goods chargeback. But that has a max timescale of 120 days from date of debit.

    Did they debit your bank account? Did you receive a confirmation email?

    If you are within the 120 days then contact your bank & explain you have not got the goods from this debit. They will talk you through what is required.

    Yes they have debited my account and did receive a  confirmation email. will email the website you have mentioned and see if they can help. Thank you for all your help x
