Location of DPC

Apologies if this is a really stupid question but could someone confirm if the DPC on the attached photos would be positioned in the mortar course that seperates the two different colours of brick?
I have tried but cannot actually see any evidence of the damp proof membrane, house is about 20 years old.

Your door frame is probably sitting on it. It can be hard to see a DPC if it's laid directly onto the brickwork without being bedded on mortar, and set back 5mm.2
