It will show up anything your previous employers choose to disclose! 

An employer can say anything they like in a reference as long as it is true and not deliberately misleading.

Some will provide full details and answer pretty much any question they are asked. Others will only provide a "bare bones" reference, just confirming that your were employed by them from XX/XX/XX to YY/YY/YY. Some will not respond at all. It is up to them, apart from in a very few specialised or regulated occupations nobody can make them provide a reference.

Experian only do credit checks.
Are you trying to get a job with Experian & they are getting a job reference from a previous employer?
Or is a potential employer getting a credit check done on you by Experian?

No, they do offer employment screening checks as a chargeable service.....

For what it is worth, my previous experience of them was that they were very thorough too, and did dig. If the OP is trying to hide something, now might be the time to consider coming clean about it - that "dismissals" and "any other incidents" was something I noted. Sickness may or may not be an issue, but the other stuff probably is.
