Land Registry - Title Register

Hi
I recently purchased the other half of my property which went through in Feb. The title register is pending an update with the registry office due to the backlog. I want to sell my house and was in touch with my Conveyancer, and he said a memo of sale from the Estate Agent to the land registry can expedite the registration process.
If nothing gets updated, will this prevent a sale?
Or do I just ask my EA to carry out the above?

EAs aren’t directly involved in the conveyancing process“Official Company Representative
