E.on next energy readings not updating

I have been trying to submit my meter readings for 31st of March about 4 days running now, each time it takes them but my e.on next still only shops my last readings as being 27/03. 

Has anyone experienced this at all?

Worked fine for me. Submitted readings on April 1 and got a statement on April 2.
Try contacting them or try submitting readings for today rather than March 31. Photograph your meter readings too if you can.

Edit: just noticed your last reading was 27/3. Maybe 31/3 is too close to be accepted.

I’m thinking it may be the close dates like you say. 

Annoyingly, those were readings they took themselves, automatic for electric and estimated for gas so they’ve essentially blocked me from submitting final readings for that price cap.

I submitted readings on 30th and 31st. both were accepted no problem
