Cancelled Class/Workshop

I was recently registered to attend a sewing class, which was cancelled as other attendees had covid. The sewing pattern has been provided, and a voucher code for the company running the workshop (to be used towards a future workshop).

I'm not sure I'd make use of this voucher code, do I have any rights allowing me to request a cash refund instead?

I can no longer see the listing for the specific event I was due to attend, but another states the following "If we need to cancel a class for any reason a credit code refund will be emailed to you to use against future classes/workshops. No cash refund are currently available at this time."  Is this enforceable?

Difficult to say whether it was - I can see these terms listed on some workshops, but no mention on others. And my workshop has now been removed from the website, so I'm unable to see the page.

Since information about your workshop has disappeared from their website, look for information about how to cancel on the emails or paper documentation you were sent (technically you are looking for information about cancelling which was sent to you by durable means).
