I have asked if the suggested increase in my DD takes into account my 12 months bills from Pure Planet for last year. No! So I asked if I could send them over so that they COULD be used as a comparison. No.
WHY NOT?

Your old bills are of no real value to them, nobody there will sit down and analyse them. Only opening and closing metre readings for the last 12 months are really required to calculate your direct debit.

What was your use for the last 12 months for gas and electricity?

Shell have access to the industry database of meter readings. There's nothing on your bills that would be of use and which they don't already know.
