I was With utilita from Sept 2020 until November 2021, every month without fail I was Spending £40-£45 of electric a month. I  understand Prices have Increased, but Scottish power for January 2022 just for my electric has been £191, which I can not afford.. my meter says it’s £70, nut they’re saying VAT & extra charges. They’ve also said that my meter must not be saying the prices I’m spending a month, I’ve then provided them with the proof via email, and they’ve said twice now they haven’t received it.. photo attached of January’s bill for gas and electric alone.. they are aware I’m on a low income,
with a child, but they seem to think £191 for a 2 bedroom Ed house is normal?

Please post some meter readings in kWh, just showing what you’re being charged is not much use in helping figure out what state your account is really in. Your statement should show an annual usage estimate (hopefully based on some smart or actual readings). Forget the pounds and pence (easier to say than do!) just for now and talk purely in terms of USAGE.

If you can just post that same image with the slider on 'kWh' instead of '£', that would be a good start...

It says on the app green is electric and gas is blue. But on the website using safari it’s the other way around.

January 2022 was our biggest month for heating as well it was very cold so that spike could be explained there. Looks like you have reduced usage a lot from Feb this year.

Are you on a fixed rate or just the standard variable rate capped tarif.

If possible do you know your energy usage in kWh for the past year for gas and electricity as then we can do some quick calculations.

Lastly is your energy account in debt or credit and how much. That all affects the direct debit
