Hi,
I am new to these forums so please be gentle. I have a Lloyds credit card and I have been trying to find out how many days between purchasing something on a credit card to when you pay it off! I can’t find the information anywhere. I am not sure if it is 30 days or 60 days. Can anyone advise? Thank you for any help.

The maximum time will be from your statement production date to your payment due date.
The exact period for each transaction depends on when you made that transaction.

Hi,
You need to pay once a monthly statement has been generated. This means that the days between purchasing something and having to pay it will vary depending on exactly when you made the purchase relative to when the statement is created.
Examples
Card statement was created on the 20th March
Buy an item today - 5th April
Next card statement is created on the 20th April
Payment date is 15th May
That's a total of 40 days
Card statement was created on the 20th March
Buy an item on the 19th April
Next card statement is created on the 20th April
Payment date is 15th May
That's a total of 26 days
Card statement was created on the 20th March
Bought an item on the 21st March
Next card statement is created on the 20th April
Payment date is 15th May
That's a total of 55 days

Assuming you're planning on repaying in full each month (which you really should be doing), it depends on when the purchase was made in relation to when the statement is produced. Broadly speaking, you'll get about 3 weeks or so between statement date and payment due date. If your statement is produced on the 30th of the month, you'll need to repay on the 21st (ish) of the following month. So if you buy something on the 1st of the month, it'll appear on the statement of the 30th, to be repaid on the 21st of the following month. You absolutely MUST pay off the minimum payment (as detailed on your statement) each month, on or before the "payment due" date. But really, you must be aiming to repay the full statement balance each month. Pay anything less than the full statement balance and you'll be hit with interest charges.

With my Lloyds card statement date is 16th and due date is 11th - 13th. So if I buy something on 16th April I won't have to pay for it until 11th June but if I buy something on 14th May I will still likely have to pay for it on 11th June.
