Test and Trace phishing

My AVG (free) protection, caught 2 URL:phishing links, both claiming to be test and trace nhs.uk. It's my own fault, I wasn't concentrating, though I was not on any sites remotely to do with NHS, test and trace, covid, pandemic etc so I know it's scammers. I've done a deep scan with AVG, a scan with Malware Bytes and checked for any downloads, browser add ons, and firewall is still on.
Is the real test and trace still going? I thought it was abandoned.

Test & Trace was scrapped back in February. And was always done by phone.  Never email.  And this is why.

I had three emails on 19/10/21 and another on 20/10/21

Then two on 18/11/21, including this .....

NHS Test and Trace has identified you as a contact of someone who recently tested positive for COVID-19.

You do not have to self-isolate. However, you should book a PCR test, even if you do not have symptoms.

Mine wasn't through an email. I was general browsing and stupidly visited a site I didn't know was unsafe. It was when leaving the site (going to google.com), my AVG protection popped up with the two URL:phishing.
