Strange charging cable issue

We sincerely apologise that this has happened to the item. We regret to inform you that we are unable to provide any replacement since more than thirty (30) calendar days have lapsed from the time the order was received.
 
 
We understand how frustrating this must be given that you did not get to use the item. We only offer replacements within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery and it would be unfair to other customers if we make an exception. We apologise if this may have caused you any inconvenience.

30 days is their policy and doesn't take precedence over consumer rights.

However, unless the cable was specifically advertised as working with that model phone then you'd struggle to claim it was faulty if it worked with other phones.

Don't think I'm gonna quibble over £3.50 (?) but it would be good to not make the same mistake again.   😚

I am really sorry to hear that the cables you purchased do not work with your Moto G31.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that all accessories will be compatible with all of our phones. We suggest to use cables and chargers that are supplied with the phone for the best performance.

However, the cables might not be compatible with the Moto G31 as this model supports only 10W rapid charging instead of 27W TurboCharging on Moto G7 Plus. In this situation I would suggest you to check specifications of the cables.
