Stopping a leak under my shed

It was quite a job, but with a bunch of manpower and some wheel skates, they managed to turn it. If they could prop it up enough to get the wheelskates under, then there's a possibly you could.Your sealant idea seems a lot easier though, I hope it works!womble12345 said:Most sheds have 4 walls, a roof and a wooden floor which I suspect is why people are confused.0

Yeah, a sparing, thin co... NNNOOOOO!
I think, choose a timber preserver that's happy to be in contact with the concrete base (which might have constant 'rising' damp). So perhaps a solvent-based type might be best?
And I wonder if the outside concrete surface can be coated with something to make it waterproof too - BlackJack or similar? Perhaps painted right up to the timber, BEFORE the sealant bead is then applied over it?
I'm trying to think of the best way to prevent any rain that lands on the concrete from 'osmosing' UNDER the bead, as it probably would do through naturally porous concrete. What's the best way to SEAL concrete?
What do the practical folk on here think?0
